MISSION STATEMENT:

We are homeless and formerly homeless people confronting the root causes of poverty and oppression. We fight for the human rights of all poor people while striving for the civil rights of those who remain on the streets. We believe that affordable housing, living wage jobs, healthcare, food security and use of public facilities are rights that we all deserve. We develop concrete solutions by building power through relationships with our brothers and sisters in the streets, allies, and decision makers.

COVENANT:

We are all on the journey of justice. All seeking to be faithful followers for our members on the street. We are all learners and all teachers; we all have gifts to share and so we work to listen to all and learn from each other, treating each other with respect and dignity. We are a community of grace and forgiveness, glad for our diversity and differences. Disagreements will come, but we are willing to remain a part of the community and a part of the conversation so we will not walk out or close our hearts or minds.
