From the Executive Director
Dear Friend,
I am writing to introduce the Nashville Homeless Power Project to you, and to request your support. The Nashville Homeless Power Project (NHPP) was founded in 2006 as a 501c3 nonprofit organization that organizes the homeless, formerly homeless and others to eradicate street homelessness and poverty in Nashville.
As the Executive Director of NHPP, my objective is to strategically empower staff and volunteers, enhance organizational capacity, while ensuring that the organization is aligned with its mission. Facilitating local collaborations, providing leadership development and training opportunities are the steps I am taking toward reaching my objective. In addition, NHPP is focusing on providing better educational resources, technical assistance and guidance to those struggling with the issue of chronic street homelessness and, through a series of strategically coordinated events, seeking to create the political will, partnerships, and expertise to resolve the problem in an effective manner.
